Manual Therapy Course

Course Philosophy of 15 days workshop

We strongly believe that successful treatment lies in an accurate examination. So, the aim of this Manual Therapy Program is to inculcate it in those who want to have a sound academic skill, a precision in the assessment of Neuromusculoskeletal disorders from a Manual Therapy point of view and deliver an appropriate treatment. The examination and treatment process developed and practiced by Capri has been taken from the best of works of various NUMERO UNO in field of Manual Therapy like Mulligan, Maitland, McConnell, Butler, McKenzie, Edwards, Monaghan, Elvey, O’Sullivan & Lee. We inculcate in the clinicians the art of subjective and physical examination from Manual Therapy point of view rather than spoon feeding the therapist with a dead end protocol. We believe every patient is unique; the complaints are unique and have to be assessed uniquely. The skill lies in your fingertips and we help you to exploit this talent.

Aims of the course
  • To make the therapist abreast with the latest researches in Anatomy, Pathophysiology, Kinematics and Biomechanics and the various age related changes in the spine and the peripheral joints & adept in applying Neuromusculoskeletal assessment procedures.
  • To develop the skill of differential diagnosis based on the integrated Neuromusculoskeletal examination, clinical reasoning & evidence base practice.
  • To help the therapist draft the most appropriate manual therapy protocol / technique that caters to the individual needs of the patient.
  • 4. To make the therapist expert in delivering the manual therapy treatment.
  • To make the therapist capable of assessing the accuracy and reliability of the treatment technique / protocol used on the patient using his manual therapy assessment skills.
